Global FMCG organisation with operations in over 40 countries rolling out global operating model, supported by SAP implementation. Led PMO and change team for global transformation including implementing change network with nodes in key territories. Scope included developing revised organisation structures and revised processes. Monitored systems programme delivered by consortium, reviewed proposed performance management structures, roles, responsibilities.
Change programme to support re-design of operating model
Led re-structuring of Content division of global broadcaster and distributor including production and operations. Working with COOs of each of the divisions, facilitated workshops, developed and agreed operating principles and oversaw analysis that supported the revised target operating model. Definition of new roles, responsibilities, revised span of control, performance measurements were some of the deliverables. Introduced new governance structures and tailored business readiness approach.
Global Change programme to develop risk culture driven by the leadership
Reporting to the Board, reviewed the organisation’s approach to managing operational risk in new and developing markets in order to provide recommendations and roadmap for instilling a culture that drives personal accountability and empowers the leadership. Identified potential operational risks, highlighted issues with devolved and decentralised structure. Conducted global risk culture survey and used analysis to craft pragmatic approach to changing the culture in over 29 countries for 17,000 employees.
